Press release -
Sigma Technology expands further in Skåne to cover a rising demand for digital services
Sigma Technology Software Solutions, a newly established company within Sigma Technology Group, strengthens its position in Skåne and welcomes Frank Camara as a new Unit Manager in Lund. Frank will look for new IT talents to support company’s new and existing clients with high-end software development, cybersecurity, and digitalization services.
For Sigma Technology Group, Skåne is one of the strategic expansion regions. Four companies cover a high demand for intelligent IT and product information services, including digital transformation, cloud services, etc. In 2021, one of four companies presented in the region, Sigma Technology Software Solutions, started its operations in Lund, Malmö, and Helsingborg. The company provides digitalization and software development services for customers in various industries, from automotive, banking, manufacturing, consumer goods to the public sector and education.
Toni Risteski, President of Sigma Technology Software Solutions, says: “Skåne differentiates due to its rich, innovative climate, highly educated people, low operation costs, infrastructure in Germany and Denmark, and already established big players within the leading industries. Thus, well-established companies and startups in the region are setting up their development centers due to proximity to highly skilled experts and research institutions like the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, the Faculty of Technology and Society at Malmö, the Blekinge Institute of Technology, etc.”
And he continues: “We are glad to have Frank joining Sigma Technology Software Solutions. As we have worked together before, I know the great capacity he holds. I look forward to seeing how we will continue to grow and evolve as a company together with Frank and the rest of our management team.”
Frank Camara has a technical background as a developer and has worked as a consultant for many years. His social side and his curiosity for people made him take on more and more leading positions. Most recently, at the company where he worked as a section manager with responsibility for between 30-40 consultants and as a delivery manager for one of the business unit's largest customers. “My goal will be to attract new competent colleagues to join the team and increase our partnerships and client portfolio. First and foremost, we should focus on evolving our software development competence and building a solid team,” says Frank and continues: “I chose Sigma Technology because we have similar values. I see it as a matter of course to be a part of the digital journey, where we will be the leading technology consulting company with a strong focus on people. With my technical background and experience as a consultant, I hope to be able to contribute to this.”
