Press release -
Sigma Technology features Andreas Hedenlind as a new Head of Microsoft Technologies
Sigma Technology Cloud (formerly Sigma Technology Digital & Cloud Solutions) continues expanding within public cloud services and welcomes Andreas Hedenlind, an expert in sophisticated cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure, as a Head of Microsoft Technologies. Andreas will be responsible for customers’ digital transformations enabled with Microsoft technologies, recruitment, and development of the educational program for existing consultants.
Demand for cloud competence is growing at a rapid pace and, according to MarketsandMarkets, the global cloud computing market size is expected to grow from USD 445.3 billion in 2021 to USD 947.3 billion by 2026, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 16.3% during the forecast period. Massive cloud technologies implementation is expected in the sectors where the WFH initiative comes as a priority. If startups and SMBs were the key cloud adopters, now SMEs, large corporations, and the public sector are following the snowball effect and switching to the cloud.
Rashin Kabodvand, President at Sigma Technology Cloud, comments: “I see a great demand for cloud adoption among SMEs private and public sector organizations. As we strive to become a partner of choice for our customers, we want to stand out among the competitors with our outstanding proficiency in agnostic cloud solutions without lock-in to the specific technology providers. We also continue developing our partnership network to deliver more value for our customers at minimum cost. We are welcoming Andreas Hedenlind in his new role of Head of Microsoft Technologies at Sigma Technology Cloud.”
Andreas Hedenlind has over 10 years of professional background in a solutions architect role focusing on Microsoft technologies. He takes over the responsibility for cloud transformations, education program development, and professional audits of existing infrastructure setup. Andreas shares: “We have very ambitious plans for 2022. Our goal is to strengthen Sigma Technology’s partnership together with Microsoft and build a solid team of cloud architects and developers to help our customers become cloud-native organizations. I am also planning to develop an educational program for our existing consultants so that they could expand their knowledge within Microsoft technologies.”
“We are actively growing and looking for Cloud Solutions Architects working with the Microsoft Azure platform. We are also looking for developers of any seniority level with cloud knowledge to create cloud-native applications,” he adds.
