Press release -
Sigma Technology Group grows in Mälardalen and aims to hire 50 consultants
Sigma Technology expands further in Mälardalen and Eskilstuna to provide professional IT services to local technology companies and existing customers. In particular, two companies within Sigma Technology Group, led by Richard Gustafsson, plan to expand the team with at least 50 developers and consultants. Elena Hallin is responsible for establishing a team and strengthening Sigma's brand in the region.
Sigma Technology IT Infra and Sigma Technology Consulting are two companies within Sigma Technology Group headed by the president Richard Gustafsson. The companies have a heavy presence in Sweden, i.a. in Stockholm, Södertälje, Västerås, Örebro, Linköping, Norrköping, Jönköping, and Eskilstuna. The key offering encompasses a full spectrum of IT services, including research, software & hardware development, and IT infrastructure development, serving major clients such as Volvo, ABB, and Scania. Richard Gustafsson shares: "Companies need diverse digital solutions, servers, and entire IT infrastructures to operate successfully with clients and their back office. For example, they also need internal and external systems to reach out to their customers or suppliers. Though during the past years we were not focused on Mälardalen, now we see a great potential to grow there, and the main reason for it is people." Both companies have already started the recruitment campaign to hunt for 50 expert developers and tech consultants.
Elena Hallin, Unit Manager at Sigma Technology IT Infra, has a solid background in business management and recruitment consulting. Elena comments: "The main benefit for me is the experience of building a company in the local market. Sigma Technology has a solid brand both in Sweden and several other countries, but in Eskilstuna and Mälardalen, we have not been represented as strongly as possible. So now we have great opportunities to strengthen general Sigma's brand in the region. My unit's goal is to have 25 consultants on board, together with my chief colleague Sanna, we will have 50 consultants in Eskilstuna and Mälardalen."
