Sigma Technology Strengthens Software Development Offer in Karlskrona

Sigma Technology started its first office in Karlskrona back in 2007. Today, the Sigma Technology team in Karlskrona gathers over 150 employees providing top-notch product information, IT consulting, and web & software development services. Sigma Technology is represented in the region by two companies: Sigma Technology Information, and Sigma Technology Systems.

Karlskrona has always been an important region for Sigma Technology due to its significant development of IT and Telecom areas. According to Daniel Borg, Vice President at Sigma Technology Systems, the company has grown very rapidly and works very close between 10 regions in Sweden. In 2021 he sees a great demand from large companies around Sweden who work with digitalization and experience challenges finding local expertise.

“We have high competence in our region and very skilled Java and .NET developers. With a strong background and expertise in the Telecom industry, we will considerably grow in other industries such as FinTech, Automotive, and Logistics. Many companies in the manufacturing industry are digitalizing larger parts of their operations and move towards Industry 4.0. This is another area where we have chosen to expand to be at the forefront to meet customers' future needs,” says Daniel.

In 2021, Sigma Technology Systems welcomed Jenni Aronsson, a new Unit Manager in Sigma Technology Systems in Karlskrona, who will help Sigma Technology to strengthen its positions and evolve digitalization and software development offers.

Jenni Aronsson comes from the recruitment and staffing industry, where she has been working for over 10 years. She has considerable experience in the IT and Telecom industries and worked as a customer service expert, support technician, and system manager.

Jenni will be a part of the management team together with Daniel Borg and Simon Sönnby. “My primary focus will be finding new talents who will support our customers on their digitalization journeys. I have received a great welcome at Sigma Technology and have experienced an open and respectful environment”, comments Jenni her first weeks in a new workplace.
