Sigma Technology Group starts new office in Norrköping, Sweden

Press release -

Sigma Technology Group starts new office in Norrköping, Sweden

Sigma Technology Group, one of Sweden’s leading IT consulting and service provider companies, has announced the launch of a new division in Norrköping. With over 2,000 employees, Sigma Technology Group plans to expand rapidly and support local and global clients with advanced IT services.

2020, with the lockdowns and ambivalence caused by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, brought many challenges for businesses, global industries, and societies alike. But even despite the difficulties, Sigma Technology Group managed to follow its strategy to ensure further growth and has now announced the opening of a new office in Norrköping, expanding the number of offices in Sweden and Norway. The main focus in Norrköping will be on supplying embedded systems, hardware, and software development teams on a homeshore basis. Although this city is still an undiscovered market for the company, the plan is to actively cooperate with the heavy machinery and consumer goods sector as well as to build trustful relationships with local start-ups and mid-size companies.

Daniel Gustafsson, one of the unit managers in Norrköping, shares his thoughts: “I see Norrköping as a thriving city full of creativity, fresh new ideas, and opportunities. We want to attract brilliant expert engineers and developers who can easily cooperate in teams and focus on the solution more than the problem itself. Equality and diversity are the top priorities for us when it comes to our business vision and further development”.

The south-east of Sweden stands out among the other regions with its concentration of IT companies, highly developed industry, and three universities. It is well-equipped for further innovation and its multitude of brilliant minds attracts the strongest employers. Sigma Technology has already established an active presence in Linköping, which has a great demand for digitalization services, and Norrköping, the next city in Sigma Technology’s growth strategy for embedded systems and software development, where Sigma Technology Information is now providing product information and management services.
