SIGMA'S KEY RECRUITMENT TO THE NEW BUSINESS AREA ONE IT

This statement is said by Urban Berlinde, recruited as head of Sigma's new business area.

Analyses and dialogues with many clients show a wish for a supplier that takes overall responsibility, combining all parts of the supply chain, from application development to operation, maintenance and support. With this as a base, Sigma IT Consulting puts further focus on application development and operations by creating a new business area called OneIT, in order to meet the customers’ entire business needs.

Urban Berlinde is the director of the business area OneIT, with the mission to offer customer-related deliveries together with specialist expertise from Sweden and India. Yesterday's silo mentality with separate deliveries of development, operation and management is no longer relevant. Instead, the customer gets help with tailored, smart overall solutions where the entire chain is integrated.

Urban has Master's Degrees in Economics & IT, and during his professional career he has worked both operationally and strategically in the IT industry, ranging from the role of developer and project manager to CEO. He has long experience of leading organizations in change, focusing on profitable growth. Urban Berlinde has previously been CEO of both TeleComputing Sverige AB and Kentor AB (now SopraSteria). As leader of OneIT, Urban will report directly to Sigma IT Consulting's CEO Lars Kry.
