Sigma presented IT solutions at a conference on cancer care in Ukraine
Sigma participated in the Sweden-Ukraine Initiative for Healthcare of the Future in Kherson at the end of March.
The goal of the event, organized by the Embassy of Sweden in cooperation with Kherson Regional Oncological Dispensary, was to exchange experience in cancer care. Chief Doctors from oncological dispensaries from all regions of Ukraine, Swedish experts and representatives of Swedish companies participated in the conference.
Sigma shared their vision on connected health and telemedicine in general and how it can improve cancer care in particular. This range from the opportunities promised by AI and advanced image processing, connected devices to existing process support systems. Electronic medical records together with specific tools can improve patient safety and quality of care and empower the care staff in their efforts. Sigma showed the range of products offered by their partner Cambio Healthcare Systems and demonstrated a concrete example with our Multidisciplinary Conference Planning Tool to facilitate sharing of information between experts and patients in the complex cancer treatment process.
