Sigma IT Consulting is a proud sponsor of European Speedrunner Assembly summer 2018

On the 20-29 July, is it once again time for European Speedrunner Assembly at Quality Hotel View, Malmö.

European Speedrunner Assembly, ESA is a series of charity fundraising marathons revolving around speedrunning. For one whole week 400 gamers gather together to present world-class gameplay on Twitch.tv, completing games as fast as possible while raising money for a cause. This year the fundraising is for Save the Children International.

European Speedrunner Assembly is an unique broadcasted charity and gaming event, streamed to a generation that traditional TV won’t reach. The global audience have helped raise over 500 000€ since 2012.

Fredrik Lidholt, one of the initiative takers to ESA says:

* We are very proud and passionate about arranging ESA, and this year in Malmö Sweden. We have 400 gamers on-site from the whole world and at the event in 2017 we had 2,4 million unique views via the online live broadcast. We are expecting even more views this year since the event is getting more well-known throughout the world.

Fredrik continues,

* Speedrunners are a very loyal and dedicated community that want to do good in the world and at the same time have fun.

The marathon can be arranged thanks to a great team of volunteers and partners. It´s is also possible for companies, organizations or private persons to donate small or larger amounts to support the fundraising for Save the Children International.

* We at Sigma love gaming and making a difference and think that ESA is doing a great job combing gaming and fundraising. All for a better tomorrow.
