Sigma and API PRO establish maintenance system collaboration

Two leading players in maintenance systems for industries with equipment-intensive production will be working together to create more complete comprehensive solutions based on API PRO's standard software and Sigma's extensive range of services.

The market for maintenance systems is both growing and evolving. It is growing because many industries still have considerable potential to increase production equipment availability, at the same time as maintenance tasks can be made more efficient. But the market is also evolving with new technology providing new opportunities, such as machines “saying” when they require maintenance. With a combination of Sigma's breadth in IT and many years of consulting experience in maintenance systems coupled with API PRO's leading technical platform, the market can obtain the new comprehensive solutions that they demand. Collaboration encompasses Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Broader solutions for optimal maintenance processes “Sigma has worked with industrial maintenance systems since the mid-90s and is now the largest independent consulting firms in Sweden with regard to Maximo,” says Hans Hellström at Sigma IT & Management. “At the same time our focus is on being highly skilled in the actual maintenance processes and being able to offer systems solutions that support the processes as optimally as possible based on each customer's specific conditions.
