Scania signs new framework agreements with Sigma

Sigma has been entrusted to deliver consulting and broker services to Scania. The framework agreements for several years cover both consulting and broker services within R&D and IS/IT with Sigma as a preferred supplier.

“After a comprehensive procurement process, we have chosen to renew the framework agreement with Sigma. This time, we renewed the part for the delivery of consulting and broker services,” says Samuel Touma, purchaser at Scania.

“We are very proud and satisfied with Scania's continued trust. For several years Sigma has been a supplier to Scania, and we have built up a strong delivery capability to meet the client’s need for competent and qualified R&D and IS/IT consultants. Now we take the next step in our cooperation, adding broker services in the same areas,” says Fredrik Sundström, Key Account Manager at Sigma.

“We are really looking forward to close cooperation with Sigma, especially in terms of the new agreement for broker services,” continues Karin Lindström, Sourcing Manager at Scania.

Sigma's extensive technology know-how and the ability to deliver both consultancy and broker services are unique in the Swedish consulting business. This, combined with a long and comprehensive experience in the automotive industry, will be of great benefit for Scania in the development of world-leading transport solutions.
