Thank you, Karlskrona, for 10 years!
Significant development of IT and telecom areas in Karlskrona was one of the factors for Sigma to open the office here back in 2007. Sigma became an essential provider of resources in product information, IT consulting, communication, and software development. Now, we are represented in the region by three Sigma companies: Sigma Technology Information, Sigma IT Consulting, and Sigma Technology Systems.
“We started with 0 and grew up to over 100 persons. Karlskrona has always been an important region for Sigma. We are an organization with the entrepreneurial spirit, where we are eager to make decisions, act, and develop quickly. This is appreciated both by our clients and colleagues,” says Johan Edlund, CEO at Sigma Technology Information.
The talents working at Sigma come from all over Sweden and even from 15 different countries around the world. “We put our people and competence in focus, therefore we have achieved such diversity and harmony in our team, where a lot of ideas bland together in a perfect mix of knowledge and experience. We are continuously looking for more talents to join our team and expect to recruit 35 more people in the nearest time,” adds Daniel Borg, COO at Sigma Technology Systems.
During this week, Sigma has a lot of activities not only for the colleagues and clients but also Karlskrona inhabitants and visitors of the city. Earlier this week, we shared birthday cupcakes in the city. On Wednesday, we had our first Sigma Smart Women Society meeting with Renata Chlumska as a guest speaker, and today we are going to have a big celebration party for our colleagues, partners, and friends.
