Talk Show about Technical Information – Brand New Format for BOTI Conference 2019 in Stockholm

On October 16-17, 2019, the Swedish Industry Organization for Technical Information (BOTI) holds its annual conference at Quality Hotel Globe in Stockholm. For the first time in Sweden, this year’s conference is going to be in the format of a talk show with a famous TV star Rickard Olsson as a host. The attendees are from Swedish leading businesses in the area of technical information, universities, and BOTI’s corresponding organizations globally – CIDM and Tekom. Sigma Technology takes part in the arrangement and is going to be presented on stage as well as among the exhibitors at the BOTI’s event.

BOTI’s goal is to promote the development of the technical information domain. The annual conference is BOTI’s platform to gather opinion leaders, businesses, and technical information experts in Sweden. This year’s format of hosting a talk show became the organizers’ way to engage the audience in the discussions about the changes and trends in technical information creation and maintenance. The six key topics of the conference include knowledge-sharing, global perspectives, tone of voice, smart business models, technical opportunities, and trends in technical information.

Sigma Technology is a proud sponsor of the conference and will have representatives participating in several sections of the BOTI’s talk show:

  • Ken Olausson, Unit Manager with over 20 years of experience in technical information, is going to be the expert commentator during both days of the conference
  • Liselotte Shafiee, Unit Manager, Technical Information professional with experience of working in China, the USA, and Sweden, will share her views on Technical Information in Sweden vs abroad and will talk about Content 4.0
  • Anna-Karin Hulth, Project Leader and Technical Information expert, will talk about auto-generated content in the technical documentation
  • Johan Thornadsson, Vice President, is one of the organizers of this year’s event.
