Sigma IT Consulting on Dreamhack Summer 2018

On 16–19 June it is time for Dreamhack Summer 2018 at Elmia in Jönköping.

Sigma IT Consulting has various representation on-site. The all-female E-sports team Sigma Gaming will participate in several League of Legends tournaments and it will be exciting to follow the games.

Sigma is also represented together with entrepreneurs in the Jönköping Region within the project Digital Open Innovation. The project is part of the regional program TRANSFORM to AAA. In addition to Sigma a number of major companies in the Jönköping region are participating in the project.

The aim of the project is to get more people interested in Jönköping as a digital region for education, employment and entrepreneurship.

– We are happy to be at Dreamhack, which is a great pride for all of us in Jönköping. It will be exciting to follow everything that happens during Dreamhack, meet the gamers, inspire and inform them about all the opportunities provided in Jönköping, says Petra Holmbäck, Regional manager Sigma IT Consulting Jönköping.

Sigma IT Consulting continues the expansion in the region. The company currently has about 25 consultants in Jönköping and is continuously growing. At the end of the year, it is estimated to be 35 employees.

– For us it’s very exciting to be at Dreamhack. The whole event is outstanding. We want to meet with the E-sport Community at Dreamhack, as they are an interesting target group for us. We want to inspire them to choose a future within IT and technology. We are growing fast and is constantly looking for new colleagues. Surveys show a shortage of 70.000 people in the IT Industry to year 2022. If we can get some of the people who are at Dreamhack to realize what an interesting future the IT Industry can offer, we have done a good job, concludes Beatrice Silow, Communications and Culture Manager at Sigma IT Consulting.
