The current situation can be improved with the help from the Finnish western neighbor – Sweden. Sigma Technology is among Swedish IT companies that help IT experts from Finland to get new employment.
Liselotte Shafiee, Vice President at Sigma Technology USA, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who (and is featured in the Inner Circle Executive quarterly magazine) as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Technology. Liselotte was earlier acknowledged by the National Association of Professional Women as a VIP Woman of the Year.
We are proud to inform that Sigma Technology Hungary has received a corporate credit AAA rating from Bisnode, a member of the Sweden-based Bisnode Group, Europe’s largest business, marketing, and credit information agency. This is the third year in a row when the company receives the highest evaluation.
Yesterday, at the 200th anniversary of Ada Lovelace, the first computer programmer, Swedish organization DataTjej organized banquets in Gothenburg, Uppsala, and Umeå. Sigma Technology gladly supports students and joined the event in Gothenburg.

Sigma Technology’s team in Gothenburg is diverse and truly international. Though English is the official language for business communications, being able to speak Swedish makes work and life in general easier and more fun. Therefore, one year ago a group of Swedes at the Gothenburg office launched Swedish Club meetings, where people can write, talk, and practice listening comprehension.
Last Thursday, Sigma Technology Hungary invited business representatives, experts, and opinion leaders in Budapest, Hungary, to discuss and share knowledge about one of today’s most trending topics, the Internet of Things (IoT). Ambassador of Sweden to Hungary H. E. Mr. Niclas Trouvé also joined the event and participated in fruitful dialogs about the future of the connected society.
We are happy to announce that Sigma Technology Hungary has been ranked first in the Intelligent Company of the Year 2015 competition in the mid-sized enterprises category. The competition was organized by Mensa HungaIQa, the Hungarian branch of Mensa International, the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world.
In early November, the Swedish business organization for technical information (BOTI), held the annual conference in Stockholm. The organization gathered its members, big Swedish companies that work with product information, to discuss main trends and breakthroughs in the area.
In October, Sigma Technology participated in the Swedish-Hungarian Smart Forum’s second "Innovation Club" event in Hungary. The seminar was hosted by Ericsson Hungary with the key topic "disruptive innovation." Johan Thornadtsson, Vice President at Sigma Technology Information, was invited as a keynote speaker and talked about smart troubleshooting in the connected society.
During the first two weeks of November, the best students from Ukrainian universities, partners of the Tempus program, visited Sweden to attend the course on innovations and entrepreneurship. The main idea of the project is to show students that an innovative approach can be applied in every area and every technology.
